As a Senior Airfield Civil Engineer & Design Manager at Jacobs, you will be a key member of the Aviation team, working on complex airfield projects from concept through construction. You will leverage your expertise in aviation design to lead project teams and ensure successful project delivery. Your work will directly influence the quality and efficiency of large-scale aviation projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineer License (P.E.) in Texas or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire.
• Demonstrated experience leading aviation design and construction projects.
• Knowledge of current aviation industry regulations and standards, including FAA codes and publications.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• Manage design efforts throughout all stages of a project to ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align project design documents with objectives.
• Prepare complete and accurate design submittals in conformance with project requirements.
• Lead presentations of design elements to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct peer reviews of design submittals and provide constructive feedback.
• Solicit feedback from stakeholders and guide design teams through project constraints.
• Conduct on-site inspections of ongoing construction projects to verify compliance with design.
• Independently lead designs on multiple concurrent projects without direct oversight.
