The Real Estate Data Analyst role at Microsoft focuses on managing and ensuring the quality of data within the Global Workplace Services (GWS) real estate portfolio. This position is responsible for data governance, including validation and cleanliness of data, while also supporting analytics and reporting functions. The analyst will work closely with various teams to maintain data integrity and provide insights for decision-making. • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with data quality, data validation, data governance, or master-data management.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python or R for data extraction and analysis.
• Familiarity with corporate real estate and workplace data.
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Power BI or comparable platforms.
• Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools, including Microsoft Excel.

• Own and run the data validation framework across GWS real estate data.
• Maintain business reference values and mappings for Finance and the business.
• Own the recurring audit, mapping, and cleanup cycles.
• Maintain consistent metric definitions, data dictionaries, and reference materials.
• Track and report data-quality measures to stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain recurring reporting cadences and dashboards.
• Supply clean datasets and supporting analysis to the Portfolio Strategy function.
• Partner with GWS data, systems, and technology teams to maintain data health.
• Identify and support automation of validation and error-correction processes.
• Collaborate with various teams to source data and align on definitions.
