• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, JavaScript or Python.
• 3+ years of software development experience developing web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern frontend framework such as React.
• Professional experience designing, developing, and shipping high-quality software.
• Experience building responsive and accessible web applications using TypeScript, React, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing object-oriented applications or services using C#, Java, C++, or a similar language.
• Experience designing or integrating APIs and working with distributed cloud services.
• Experience with public cloud services, including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for coding, testing, debugging, or developer-workflow automation.
• Ability to evaluate AI-generated output for correctness, maintainability, security, privacy, and licensing considerations.

• Build and ship AI-powered experiences across Web, Windows, and Mobile that enhance learning for students and educators.
• Experiment with emerging AI technologies and rapidly turn prototypes into production-quality product experiences.
• Create high-quality, responsive, and inclusive user experiences with attention to UX craftsmanship.
• Design efficient front-end systems and architecture to enable the team to build and evolve complex product experiences.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Applied Science, and engineering partners to understand customer needs and shape product direction.
• Own product features end to end, from discovery and prototyping through implementation and production health.
• Build across the stack, including service and API integrations and AI orchestration.
• Use AI as part of the engineering workflow to accelerate exploration, coding, testing, and debugging.
