The Head of Group Wide AI First Engineering at Citi is responsible for redefining product development by integrating AI into the entire Product Development Lifecycle. • 15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience in developer experience or engineering productivity.
• Experience building and running a developer platform serving thousands of engineers.
• Deep expertise in agentic coding tools and AI-first software development lifecycle.
• Proven ability to influence change and win over skeptical users.
• Strong product instinct with clear user focus and accountability.
• Appreciation of cybersecurity and architectural standardization.
• Ability to operate in a matrixed environment across various teams.
• Understanding of risks, controls, and regulatory expectations in AI-assisted development.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in financial services or comparable experience in a regulated engineering environment.

• Re-architect Citi's end-to-end Product Development Lifecycle to prioritize AI integration.
• Define and own the firm's reference workflows and standards for AI-first product development.
• Continuously evolve the Product Development Lifecycle as AI tools and practices mature.
• Own the agentic product development platform, including various coding and testing tools.
• Define the strategy for developer AI tooling and manage vendor relationships.
• Establish engineering productivity metrics and feedback loops for continuous improvement.
