This role involves contributing to hardware development, collaborating with various teams, and gaining hands-on experience in firmware and low-level software development. • Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a final graduation date of May 2027 or earlier.
• Coursework or project experience in digital logic design and computer architecture.
• Familiarity with a hardware description language such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Understanding of fundamental digital design concepts including combinational and sequential logic, finite state machines, timing, and clocking.
• Hands-on experience with firmware development or bare-metal programming.
• Experience debugging hardware in a lab environment using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Familiarity with communication protocols such as PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART, and Ethernet.
• Scripting experience in Python, Perl, or shell for test automation.
• Prior internship, research, or lab experience in hardware development, embedded systems, or firmware.

• Support the design, bring-up, and validation of hardware systems and subsystems.
• Develop firmware or low-level software that interfaces directly with hardware.
• Debug hardware-software integration issues in the lab using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other bench equipment.
• Write and run tests to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with ASIC, systems, and software teams to take hardware from design through deployment.
• Document your work and present findings to the team.
