The Data Center Controls Critical Facilities Engineer will be part of Apple's Infrastructure Services team, which is essential for managing data center equipment and systems. • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent vocational achievements and practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience with control system software and tools, such as PLC, Siemens, JCI, or Schneider.
• Solid understanding of virtual machine (VM) concepts.
• Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on field experience.
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems.
• Advanced proficiency in engineering software tools, including AutoCAD and Revit.
• Expertise in virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

• Manage and optimize control systems for mechanical, electrical, server, and virtual components.
• Lead or participate in projects that involve upgrading or enhancing control systems.
• Address complex topics pertaining to applications, devices, processes, and systems.
• Ensure the technology underneath everything works without question.
