Job description
The IMO Module Development Engineer position at Intel focuses on the production of photolithography masks within the Logic Technology Development team. This role requires working on-site in a collaborative environment to solve complex technical problems related to semiconductor manufacturing processes. The engineer will contribute to process equipment installation, maintenance, and performance monitoring while driving improvements in quality and productivity. Candidates will engage with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and optimize production performance.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess a PhD degree in Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or a relevant Science and Engineering field.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of photomask manufacturing and process technology is preferred.
- Experience with design of experiments and process control methodology is preferred.
- Knowledge of data analysis tools such as JMP or SQL is preferred.
- Cleanroom experience is preferred.
- 3+ months of experience with scientific equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Install and develop process equipment.
- Manage equipment maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
- Regularly monitor process performance and conduct defect analysis and reduction.
- Drive improvements in quality, reliability, cost, yield, and process stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical process and defect issues.
- Plan and conduct experiments to characterize processes throughout the development cycle.
- Establish control systems to optimize and sustain production performance.
- Develop strategies to resolve difficult problems and manage them in the future.
