The role is for a Software Engineer on the Rufus team, which focuses on building AI-powered shopping experiences within the Amazon Shopping app. Engineers will work on innovative technologies to enhance customer experiences and tackle unique technical challenges. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle

• Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive and design innovative products and services.
• Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment.
• Build LLM based content generation workflows.
• Partner with Applied Scientists to perform prompt tuning and evaluations.
