Amazon Security is looking for a Software Development Engineer II to join their security infrastructure team. This role focuses on designing and building scalable systems that catalog network assets and enhance security visibility across Amazon and AWS. The engineer will tackle complex problems in distributed systems and collaborate with security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems for network discovery and attack surface enumeration.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing meaningful technical feedback to peers.
• Collaborate with security teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable solutions.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring system performance and implementing permanent fixes.
• Balance priority tradeoffs between new feature development and operational work.
