The Senior Software Engineer will join Fauna Robotics, an Amazon company, to drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for robotic software systems. • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
• Track record of delivering developer-facing products with robust SDKs and fault-tolerant distributed systems

• Drive architecture and design decisions for robotic software systems
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex software systems from design to production deployment
• Lead collaboration across research, machine learning, hardware, and operations teams
• Define technical roadmaps and drive innovation in robotic software development
• Design and implement systems and tools to accelerate development velocity for engineering teams
