This position focuses on applying engineering principles and design practices to create optimized mechanical design specifications. The role involves investigating material processing problems and contributing to problem resolution while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates will support the improvement of processes related to material validation and quality auditing. • Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college/university.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or above preferred.
• Must be able to complete a minimum of 4 to 6 months or a maximum of 12 months commitment.
• Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.
• Must be currently residing within the continental U.S.

• Investigate material and material processing problems and recommend appropriate actions.
• Support the improvement of processes such as material validation and quality auditing.
• Deliver testing and analysis results to enable internal and external customer success.
• Contribute to decisions in material selection and optimization that impact product quality.
• Engage in problem resolution for moderately complex components and systems.
