This position focuses on verifying and validating the functionality of Cummins' products to meet diverse customer requirements across various applications and environments. The role involves planning, tracking, and evaluating results from analyses and functional tests to assess product risk and performance. The aim is to drive quality decisions and proactively resolve product issues before they reach customers. The position supports team members in problem resolution and process improvement while developing technology and product knowledge.

• Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited U.S. college/university.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or above preferred.
• Must be able to complete a minimum of 4-months to 6-months or a maximum of a 12-months commitment.
• Must be able to complete 40 hours per week.
• Must be currently residing within the continental U.S.

• Investigate product test system and process problems and recommend appropriate actions.
• Apply and support the improvement of processes such as test system specification and validation.
• Support team members in obtaining input and negotiating with lab customers and suppliers.
• Assist in decision-making regarding component selection and calibration processes.
• Engage in problem resolution for moderately complex components and products.
• Contribute effectively toward team goals and develop proficiency in critical competency areas.
