Arcadis is seeking an engineering intern to join their Water Business Line in Austin or San Antonio. The team focuses on protecting natural environments and water resources while addressing challenges such as climate change and urbanization. Interns will engage in evaluating, planning, and designing projects related to water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. This role emphasizes collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and the use of digital tools for project delivery.

• Pursuing a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related academic discipline.
• Knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, and practices related to water, wastewater, and stormwater.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Evaluate, plan, and design projects for water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment and conveyance.
• Assist with field investigations, perform calculations, and write technical memos.
• Assemble drawings, write specifications, and help with construction phase services.
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials.
• Ensure project compliance with Arcadis practices and quality, health, and safety standards.
• Learn and use digital tools to enhance customer experience and project delivery.
