Job description

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Structural Engineer (S.E.) licensed in Hawaii, or eligible to obtain license through reciprocity within six months of hire.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering emphasis; a Master's degree in structural engineering is highly desired.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems.
  • Experience with structural design and analysis software such as STAAD.PRO, TEDDS, SAP2000, RAM Elements, RAM Structural System, and Mathcad.
  • Experience with office programs including WORD, EXCEL, OneNote, Teams, and review software like Bluebeam.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and design facilities for water and wastewater projects.
  • Develop project-specific technical reports, calculations, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with local and national experts to implement new solutions.
  • Provide construction phase support services for various projects.
  • Work effectively in multi-discipline project teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-oriented projects.
