As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Jacobs, you will design and deliver complex electrical systems for various projects, including commercial, education, healthcare, industrial, and transportation sectors throughout Florida. • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida
• Demonstrated professional design experience with electrical systems for vertical building projects in Florida
• Solid knowledge and application of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 101, NFPA 110, applicable building codes, energy codes, IEEE standards, ASHRAE standards, and related industry requirements

• Design electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects
• Perform lighting design and associated controls calculations
• Prepare electrical load analyses throughout various stages of design
• Develop construction drawings and technical documentation
• Prepare basis of design reports
• Complete energy compliance calculations and supporting documentation
• Select electrical equipment and fixtures based on project requirements
• Coordinate designs with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Engage directly with clients, owners, and contractors to establish design requirements
• Support proposal, business development, and project delivery efforts as needed
• Contribute to the successful execution of projects from concept through construction
