Job description
The Engineering Manager will lead a team in the Video Engineering group that focuses on data collection software, firmware, and hardware test environments for next-generation Apple products. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, operational management, and vendor coordination. The manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of test infrastructure and data pipelines. Collaboration with engineering, safety, and business partners is essential to deliver high-quality test data and results.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- 5+ years in an engineering or technical role.
- 5+ years in people management or team lead capacity.
- Experience with internal data collection software, firmware, and hardware test environments.
- Understanding of ML model and algorithm testing and validation.
- Ability to interpret and communicate data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in prompt engineering and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience managing engineering or technical teams within a hardware development environment.
- Strong program management skills.
