The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronics at the PCB and board level to support KLA products throughout their lifecycle. The KLA Services team focuses on maximizing the value of KLA assets through technical support and engineering solutions. This position requires collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality repair solutions. Candidates will engage in hands-on work and contribute to engineering documentation and training.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in electronics development, sustaining engineering, or board-level sub-system support.
• Demonstrated ability to independently resolve complex board and sub-system level issues.
• Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design principles and hands-on PCBA troubleshooting.
• Proven experience driving root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and ECO execution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot defective PCBAs using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and related lab equipment.
• Conduct PCBA design analysis to understand circuit intent and failure modes.
• Troubleshoot PCBA issues with limited or no design documentation using critical thinking and systematic debugging techniques.
• Perform board-level failure analysis on analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Support the development of board diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair plans.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation including test procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Engage with suppliers to train them on board troubleshooting and repair execution.
• Communicate progress, findings, and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
