Job description
The Software Engineering Manager will lead the Diagnostics & Calibration software team for KLA's EUV actinic reticle inspection system. This role focuses on providing technical leadership, managing people, and ensuring the delivery of innovative software solutions. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into effective software designs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging AI technologies to enhance diagnostics and calibration processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical science, Computer science, Microscopy, Optics, or relevant fields.
- 8+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
- Strong background in system-level software development involving hardware-software interaction.
- Familiarity with using AI tools for software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or C#.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high-performing Diagnostics & Calibration software team.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for multi-language software systems.
- Translate system-level and user requirements into clear technical direction and execution plans.
- Drive design excellence to improve software reliability, maintainability, performance, and scalability.
- Own delivery commitments including planning, execution tracking, and risk management.
