The Media Platforms SRE team at Apple is responsible for designing, building, and running services that manage media content across various products like the App Store and Apple Music. • BS degree in computer science or equivalent field with 6+ years experience or MS degree in computer science or equivalent field with 4+ years experience
• At least 6 years in a Reliability Engineering, DevOps or infrastructure focused role
• Advanced experience with programming languages such as Golang, Python, Java, or C++
• Deep systems and infrastructure knowledge
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time with high quality
• Experience with deploying, supporting and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks

• Design and build secure, end-to-end solutions for media content management
• Ensure systems are highly available, fast, and efficient
• Interact with a diverse range of system types including public facing web and API services
• Develop tooling and infrastructure to support automation in SRE
• Transition bare metal fleet to modern cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes micro-services
• Collaborate closely with development teams to design and build new services
