The Systems Development Engineer will join the Amazon Robotics Infrastructure Engineering team, focusing on building and operating networks that support Amazon Fulfillment Centers and delivery services. This role involves creating next-generation network products using open source tools while ensuring operational readiness and information security. The engineer will work with multiple technical teams to solve complex problems and improve network infrastructure. Candidates should be comfortable with ambiguity and have a strong technical background in networking technologies.

• 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with distributed systems at scale
• Experience with networking fundamentals including hands-on experience with load balancers, switches, routers, etc.
• Experience working in an Agile environment
