The Software Development Engineer role within the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization focuses on designing, building, and operating customer-facing capabilities for enterprise agents. The Agentic WorkSpaces Client team is responsible for creating client software that enables secure access to desktop and web applications. This position involves working on a highly scaled system that delivers remote desktops and applications to millions of users. The role emphasizes collaboration, problem-solving, and maintaining high standards for security and operational excellence.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
• Experience leading large, fast-moving projects
• Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities
• Experience architecting, securing, and operating Amazon Web Services
