As a Systems Hardware Engineer, you will focus on the integration and validation of flight-critical avionics hardware for Amazon's Prime Air drone delivery service. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and reliability in drone operations. The role requires expertise in analog/digital hardware systems and automated lab test development. You will be responsible for validating hardware interfaces and contributing to the continuous improvement of validation processes.

• BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hardware design and validation experience.
• Experience with coding/scripting in one or more languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell.
• Relevant experience with drones, electric vehicles, robotics, satellites, or complex systems relying on electrical-mechanical-software interfaces.
• Experience with aerospace or aviation electronics and applicable standards like DO-160 and DO-254.
• Experience in avionics hardware design and integration for aerospace applications.

• Validate hardware interfaces and unblock system integration across the avionics system.
• Architect, design, build, and operate test systems for drone avionics hardware.
• Develop and execute comprehensive verification and validation test plans.
• Analyze test data, generate test reports with recommendations, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis on hardware system failures and develop corrective actions.
• Contribute to manufacturing, in-service, and reliability initiatives for avionics hardware.
