The Operations Engineer will be responsible for leading design development efforts to optimize logistics networks, focusing on equipment specification and process design. This role requires collaboration with various teams to enhance safety, ergonomics, and operational efficiency. The engineer will also drive standardization and continuous improvement of technical specifications for material handling equipment. Domestic travel may be required up to 90% of the time to fulfill role responsibilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, or BIM 360
• 1+ year of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, project manager, manufacturing engineer, or related occupation
• 1+ year of experience in leading projects, programs, or initiatives with increasing scope and impact
• 1+ year of experience in managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems
• 2+ years of construction or project management, or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical engineering experience
• Experience leading large-scale programs/projects

• Lead and coordinate design development efforts for optimal solutions in the logistics network
• Develop and continuously improve technical and design specifications for material handling equipment
• Drive standardization with quantification and documentation of core design principles using Lean methods
• Identify and test new technologies to improve processes continuously
• Support post-mortem evaluations on designs and specifications after implementation
• Work closely with partner teams in Safety, ergonomics, and Operations to build impactful products
• Develop performance specifications for facilities and equipment that meet unique operating requirements and safety codes
