The Amazon Now Design Engineering team is looking for a Design Engineer to innovate and develop scalable design solutions for Quick Commerce facilities. This role involves applying engineering expertise to optimize space, capacity, and operational efficiency while collaborating with various internal and external teams. The engineer will create detailed CAD layouts and ensure designs meet safety and operational requirements. The position requires adaptability and problem-solving skills to address unique site challenges and evolving business needs.

• Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering
• 4+ years of experience as an industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL
• Experience working with and managing third-party vendors
• Experience with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing

• Create detailed 2D CAD and facility layout designs for Amazon Now sites.
• Lead and coordinate design efforts to develop optimized Quick Commerce facility solutions.
• Develop scalable, template-based design solutions and standards for the Amazon Now network.
• Develop and present comprehensive technical documentation, including design packages and engineering calculations.
• Partner closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality facility solutions.
• Translate business and operational requirements into detailed design strategies and technical solutions.
• Continuously refine and iterate designs based on stakeholder feedback and operational data.
• Evaluate site-specific constraints and develop practical engineering solutions for Amazon Now launches.
• Ensure design solutions meet applicable safety, operational, accessibility, and sustainability requirements.
• Stay current with emerging CAD technologies and industrial engineering best practices.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Amazon Now design standards and best practices.
• Support design reviews, permit submissions, and site-level implementation by providing technical guidance.
