The System Software Engineering PhD Intern role involves contributing to the design, development, and validation of system software across various layers, including firmware and operating systems. The intern will work within the Intel Foundry team, focusing on advanced semiconductor manufacturing solutions. • Candidate must be pursuing a PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.
• Candidate must have demonstrated 1 year of programming experience in C/C++, Java, or Python.
• 3.5 or higher GPA is preferred.
• Flexibility to work a 3-month internship during the Summer of 2027 located in Hillsboro, OR.
