Fidelity Investments is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the CVT team within Stock Plan Services. This role involves providing critical systems and business support on a global team using a Mainframe and Distributed technology stack. The focus is on ensuring high availability and client satisfaction while fostering collaborative relationships with technology and support partners. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe platforms and a strong analytical mindset.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with mainframe platforms.
• Demonstrated support on a critical mainframe environment using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, MQ-Series, SQL, and VSAM files.
• Experience in mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Experience in navigating an Oracle database environment for triage purposes.
• Knowledge of ETL, Informatica, Java, Python, or other distributed languages is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog/Splunk, or the ELK stack.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
