The Architecture and Design Lead at Morgan Stanley will serve as the senior design authority for the workplace portfolio across the Americas. This role focuses on shaping environments that enhance employee experience and client engagement while ensuring project delivery outcomes. The position is part of the Corporate Services division, which aims to create collaborative workplace solutions. The lead will oversee design strategies for multiple buildings and drive workplace innovation aligned with business needs.

• Extensive experience in architecture, interior design, workplace strategy, corporate real estate, construction, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of workplace planning, design governance, brand standards, project delivery, construction coordination, budgeting, and consultant management.
• Demonstrated ability to balance design excellence with practical delivery considerations.
• Executive presence and communication skills to advise senior leaders and influence decisions.
• Experience managing external architects, designers, vendors, and consultants.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Workplace Strategy, Real Estate, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred.

• Serve as the senior design authority for the Americas workplace portfolio.
• Provide executive oversight of architects, designers, consultants, and internal partners.
• Lead design strategy for approximately 15 buildings in the current book of work.
• Drive workplace innovation by translating employee, client, and business needs into design concepts.
• Establish and maintain design standards, review processes, and decision-making forums.
• Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams through clear design recommendations.
