This position requires balancing technical leadership with executive alignment to facilitate organizational change across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will drive the modernization of infrastructure while ensuring that active product commitments are not disrupted.

• Deep software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership at the director or fellow level.
• Proven technical range across build systems, CI/CD infrastructure, and software release pipelines.
• Experience in driving large-scale infrastructure or platform modernization across multiple teams.
• Ability to sequence technical change while protecting active product commitments.
• Strong executive-level communication skills to frame technical tradeoffs as business decisions.

• Provide technical direction for the unified build and release platform from PoC architecture decisions through phased production rollout.
• Align with executives on the phased rollout to ensure active product shipments are not delayed.
• Lead organizational change across firmware, kernel, and ROCm teams to unify the build and release process.
• Directly lead a tiger team of senior engineers building the platform, ensuring technical calls are made effectively.
• Commit to coding approximately 50% of the time, owning meaningful parts of the platform.
