The Current Product Powertrain - System Performance Technical Specialist role involves leading complex problem-solving projects within the System Performance, Aftertreatment, Controls, and Emissions (SPACE) team. This position focuses on enhancing product improvements for EBU platforms in North America through a structured approach. The specialist will engage with cross-functional stakeholders, mentor engineers, and drive technical decisions while ensuring project goals are met. A strong emphasis is placed on data-driven analysis and effective communication to deliver high-quality results.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an appropriate STEM field is required.
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required.
• Strong critical thinking, analysis, project leadership, and communication skills are essential.
• Working knowledge of engine systems with experience in delivering relevant subsystems/features is necessary.
• Experience with Matlab and Simulink is required.

• Lead Product Problem Solving (PPS) projects for complex components and systems.
• Engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs and align priorities.
• Make high-impact decisions on analysis, testing, and execution details.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering tools and processes.
• Coordinate and guide technicians, students, and junior engineers.
