Job description
The Senior Finance Architect role at EY focuses on the Power & Utilities sector, where you will work with senior leadership teams to support energy transformation through Sustainable Finance. This position is part of the Finance Transformation team, emphasizing innovative strategies that empower CFOs to drive long-term business value. You will be involved in designing operating models and leading comprehensive Finance Transformation programs.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Typically, 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in consulting and the power and utilities industry is necessary.
- Experience with P&U specific finance functions and applications such as SAP, Oracle, and Power Plan is essential.
- Knowledge of finance compliance and regulation is required.
- Expertise in finance strategy, operating model design, and transformation roadmaps is needed.
Responsibilities
- Design finance operating models tailored for the Power & Utilities sector.
- Improve finance processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement shared services and global business services.
- Provide outsourcing advisory services to clients.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to support decision-making.
- Oversee finance systems and intelligent automation initiatives.
- Manage financial close, consolidation, and reporting processes.
- Analyze cost management and profitability.
- Facilitate procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes.
- Engage with clients regularly to provide insights and lead working sessions.
