As a PMIC Systems Engineer at Qualcomm, you will engage in the research, design, and development of power management hardware and software solutions. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that system-level performance and power metrics meet industry standards. You will apply your expertise in power electronics and work on various aspects of chipset design. The position requires a balance of technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively within the team.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 1+ year of relevant engineering work experience, or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in areas such as SMPS, LDO, Buck Converters, and Battery charging.

• Assist in the research, design, and development of hardware and software solutions at the chipset and/or feature level.
• Specify power management products and supporting software to meet chipset level requirements.
• Assist in test platform hardware/software development, test planning, and post-silicon verification.
• Triages problems at the system-level to determine root cause.
• Develop and review PCB schematics and design layouts for a specific sub-system of chipset design.
• Utilize design and simulation tools such as MATLAB and Mentor Graphics to execute system design.
