This role is a Senior Software Engineer position within Microsoft Advertising's Third Party Ad Solutions & Data Management Platform organization. The focus is on developing customer-facing web applications and the underlying APIs, services, and data capabilities. The engineer will work hands-on across the full stack, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver production software that simplifies complex workflows. The position emphasizes AI-native development, coding best practices, and engineering excellence without people-management responsibilities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python is preferred.
• Experience designing, building, and operating applications and services on Microsoft Azure or comparable cloud platforms is preferred.
• Solid full-stack development experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript is preferred.

• Independently uses appropriate artificial intelligence (AI) tools and practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Reviews product code and test code to ensure it meets team standards and is appropriate for the product or solution area.
• Creates a clear test strategy that ensures solution quality and prevents regression from being introduced into existing code.
• Drives product development and scaling to customer requirements while applying best practices for meeting scaling needs.
• Collaborates with and guides appropriate internal and external stakeholders to determine and confirm customer/user requirements.
