The role is for a Front End Engineer within the AWS Solutions organization, focusing on developing innovative technology solutions for Amazon Connect, an AI-powered customer experience service. The team is dedicated to solving complex engineering problems and creating modern contact centers in the cloud. • 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• 1+ years of experience in computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
• 1+ years of experience with agile software development methodology.
• Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node.

• Own code end-to-end from design to development.
• Work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS.
• Participate in bi-weekly sprint planning and daily standups.
• Contribute feature code and conduct code reviews for teammates.
• Communicate weekly on project statuses and participate in project meetings.
