NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated security engineer to join the GPU Software team. The role focuses on automating security enforcement across software releases using traditional tools and AI agents. The engineer will work on translating security requirements into automated checks and maintaining the release security scanning pipeline. This position offers the opportunity to drive the adoption of innovative security practices across engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in security engineering, with experience in drivers, kernel, or firmware.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C.
- Hands-on experience building LLM agents or agentic workflows.
- Experience integrating tooling into CI/CD and release pipelines.
- Track record of taking an internal tool from prototype to broad adoption, without direct authority.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead the adoption of AI agents in security by reinventing manual workflows.
- Take proven agentic workflows through development and into production.
- Drive adoption of security practices across engineering teams.
- Translate security requirements into automated, per-release checks across software.
- Own and maintain the release security scanning pipeline and prioritize its findings.
- Collaborate in broader security engineering work including threat modeling and vulnerability remediation.
Benefits
- Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
