The Credit Risk Senior Analyst role at Citi focuses on managing credit risk activities for institutional clients within the Commodities sector. This position is part of the Institutional Credit Management team, which is responsible for credit analysis, underwriting, and ongoing monitoring of client credit quality. The analyst will work closely with senior underwriters and support front office transactions while ensuring compliance with Citi's risk framework. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risks associated with derivative facilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of credit experience in Banking or Credit Risk Management, preferably with exposure to Commodities markets and derivative products.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess liquidity, leverage, and cash flow under volatile commodity price environments.
• Expertise in industry research, including commodity market drivers and counterparty risk factors.

• Perform fundamental credit analysis of counterparties in the Commodities sector using quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Prepare Credit Approval Memos (CAMs) and assign risk ratings based on independent assessment and due diligence.
• Monitor the covered portfolio continuously, including tracking commodity price volatility and promptly escalating potential credit concerns.
• Review and recommend risk ratings across the Commodities Counterparty portfolio.
• Support senior Underwriters on all activities related to the assigned coverage, including new transaction approvals and writing of credit memos.
