The Annapurna ML Software team is seeking a candidate to architect and develop software and firmware for NeuronSwitches, which serve as the high-performance interconnect fabric for Trainium chips. This role involves hands-on systems work, collaborating closely with EC2 and manufacturing teams to bring up new hardware and optimize data paths. The team focuses on low-level systems programming and ensuring that the infrastructure can support demanding AI workloads. Candidates will be responsible for driving technical strategy and mentoring engineers in best practices.

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and testing
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Define technical strategy and lead architecture for the machine learning platform
• Collaborate with EC2 teams and manufacturing partners for system integration
• Own end-to-end qualification frameworks and mentor engineers on best practices
• Drive qualification processes for new software implementations
• Craft high-performance solutions using C/C++ running on Linux
