This role is for a software engineer in the Compiler team for AWS Neuron, focusing on building the next generation Neuron compiler to optimize ML models for AWS Inferentia and Trainium. • 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience in object-oriented languages like C++ or Java.

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain innovative software solutions for the Neuron compiler.
• Solve hard compiler optimization problems to achieve optimum performance for various ML model families.
• Create compiler optimization and verification passes to enhance compiler architecture.
• Build features that surface the peculiarities of AWS accelerators to developers.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
