The Pipelines team within Amazon's Software Builder Experience organization is seeking a Software Development Engineer to enhance their CI/CD platform. This role focuses on developing the smart orchestration layer, Dynamic Releases, to improve the software release process for Amazon builders. The team aims to leverage AI to transform developer workflows and reduce manual interventions. The successful candidate will work on large-scale systems that impact thousands of engineers daily.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience building services using AWS products
• Experience with software tooling and services supporting development lifecycle at scale

• Identify and prioritize high-impact problems that impede AWS software development
• Decompose complex builder problems into simple, straightforward and scalable solutions
• Collaborate with AWSBA, ASBX and AWS builder teams to build and operate the designed solutions
• Deliver meaningful improvements weekly while working toward long-term transformation
• Re-imagine how developers build and operate the software that underpins the world's largest cloud
• Drive significant transformation across AWS engineering
