Job description
The Sr. Director of Product Management for Intel's Network Solutions Group is responsible for overseeing the product vision, strategy, and lifecycle management of the Infrastructure Processing Unit and Ethernet controller portfolio. This role involves leading a high-performing team and collaborating with various departments to define and execute product strategies that align with market needs. The director will also engage with strategic customers and partners to translate their requirements into actionable product strategies. This position reports directly to the General Manager of the Business Unit.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- 12+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, engineering, architecture, technical marketing, or a related role within the semiconductor, networking, data center, or infrastructure technology industry.
- 5+ years of experience leading product strategy, product definition, or lifecycle management for complex hardware or hardware/software products.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of Ethernet and networking technologies, including network interface controllers, Ethernet controllers/adapters, and infrastructure processing units.
- Experience managing products through multiple stages of the product lifecycle, including new product definition, development, launch, production, sustaining, and end-of-life.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive long-range product and portfolio strategy based on customer requirements and market dynamics.
- Own new product definition from concept through execution, collaborating with architecture, engineering, and other teams.
- Lead and develop a high-performing product management team responsible for executing the portfolio strategy.
- Serve as a key interface to strategic customers and ecosystem partners to understand networking requirements.
- Own the complete product lifecycle from introduction to end-of-life decisions.
