Job description
This role involves owning critical manufacturing equipment and processes for the mass production of integrated circuits. The focus is on maintaining process control, driving improvements, and ensuring operational reliability. The position requires collaboration with global teams to support technology transfer and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates will also lead equipment installation and qualification activities during factory ramp-ups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
- Experience with semiconductor device fabrication is preferred.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, equipment, and process control methodologies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform tests, measurements, and analysis to maintain process control.
- Identify, recommend, and implement equipment and process improvements.
- Drive the scaling of manufacturing capacity to high-volume production.
- Lead the execution of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives focusing on key performance indicators.
- Own process development activities aligned with high-volume manufacturing process nodes.
- Support technology transfer to global sites through training and audits.
- Develop and optimize excursion prevention systems for equipment and processes.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve equipment and process discrepancies.
- Lead equipment installation, conversion, and qualification activities during factory ramp-ups.
