The AI Threat Defense Engineer role is part of the Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team, focusing on guiding customers through their cloud journey with an emphasis on security and compliance. This position involves providing technical guidance and best practices for secure cloud implementations while working closely with senior stakeholders. The engineer will help design and develop cloud security architectures to meet customer requirements and ensure a positive experience in using Google Cloud Platform. This role requires regular travel for meetings and onsite delivery activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience architecting, developing, or maintaining secure cloud solutions.
• Experience designing cloud enterprise solutions and supporting customer projects to completion.
• Experience coding in one or more general purpose languages such as Python, Java, Go, C, or C++.

• Provide deep domain expertise in cloud security and compliance as a trusted technical advisor.
• Work with customers to design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions.
• Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, and technical presentations.
• Manage disparate senior stakeholders within customer environments to drive positive outcomes.
