The Water Resources Engineering Intern position at Jacobs is designed for Civil and Environmental Engineering students interested in water resources. The intern will support the delivery of innovative projects for local and global clients, focusing on water management planning and design. Under the guidance of experienced engineers and scientists, the intern will gain valuable mentorship and hands-on experience. This role emphasizes collaboration and the application of technical skills in real-world scenarios.

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• A minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must be at least a rising Junior
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred
• Previous internship experience related to the field of study is a plus
• Self-driven time management and organizational skills
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship

• Assist in the development and application of environmental and water resources analyses
• Support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies
• Participate in planning and design for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects
• Conduct research, technical writing, and development of documentation and studies
• Collect, process, and analyze data to support water resources planning activities
• Contribute to stormwater management planning and design, as well as green infrastructure design
