Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern (Roadway Design) to join their Transportation team in Bellevue, WA for the Summer of 2027. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure projects while applying academic knowledge to real-world civil engineering challenges. Interns will assist in various aspects of roadway, highway, and transit design, learning about industry-standard procedures and software. The position involves working alongside experienced engineers and project managers to develop innovative solutions for transportation clients.

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Completed coursework or plan to complete coursework related to transportation engineering or highway design.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Help prepare technical reports and design documentation.
• Participate in site visits to observe roadway conditions and data collection processes.
• Assist in roadway geometric design calculations and layout.
• Support the development of highway plans and estimates.
