As a Software Engineer II on the Windows App team, you will focus on developing and supporting the native Windows client. This role involves working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment to enhance user experiences through secure and reliable software solutions. You will also play a key role in mentoring other engineers and ensuring high-quality code through design guidance and code reviews. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, and C#.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

• Design, implement, and ship native Windows client features using modern C++ and C#.
• Work on Windows App scenarios across resource discovery, connection setup, authentication, OS integration, reliability, and performance.
• Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable components that span processes, threads, services, client applications, and cloud-backed experiences.
• Diagnose complex problems using debuggers, dumps, traces, logs, and telemetry.
• Partner with various teams to deliver coherent end-to-end customer experiences.
