Job description
The Supply Chain Program Manager role at Microsoft is part of the Supply Chain Operations Rotation Experience (SCORE), aimed at early career professionals. This program includes three one-year rotations across key organizational pillars, focusing on the planning, delivery, and provisioning of data centers for Microsoft Cloud. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a growth mindset, aligning with Microsoft's mission to empower individuals and organizations. Candidates will engage in various supply chain activities while contributing to meaningful business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Certification in Six Sigma.
- Experience with global materials life-cycle management and start-up/shut-down process management is preferred.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning and material management systems is a plus.
- Ability to analyze, explain, and draw conclusions based on complex data.
Responsibilities
- Use basic data tools and dashboards to monitor program performance and identify deviations from expected results.
- Identify basic process improvement opportunities and contribute to the implementation of solutions.
- Assist with supply chain project activities under supervision and within a defined task area.
- Assist with risk tracking activities by gathering information and updating documentation.
- Coordinate tasks by working with team members to support routine communication and issue tracking.
- Assist with basic supplier performance tracking tasks by updating records and reports.
- Assist with supply chain tasks by completing routine activities within a defined planning area.
- Assist with compliance activities by completing routine tasks to support planning and reporting.
