Qualcomm's Silicon Validation team is seeking a Senior SoC Debug Engineer to enhance the quality of SoC silicon for Server, Compute, and Mobile chipsets. The role involves close collaboration with architects, designers, and verification engineers to debug and analyze failures at the embedded platform level. The candidate will lead initiatives for faster debugging and create strategies to isolate specific component failures. This position requires a strong background in pre-silicon and post-silicon debugging.

• 6+ years of experience with pre-silicon and post-silicon enabling and debugging at the embedded platform level.
• Experience in solving complex debug issues in both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
• Strong knowledge of debug tools including JTAG and lab equipment such as Logic Analyzers and Oscilloscopes.
• Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Lead the bring-up and debugging of server hardware at the embedded platform level.
• Analyze failures during both pre-silicon and post-silicon phases.
• Create and implement debug strategies to help partners rapidly triage failures.
• Perform real-time debugging and troubleshooting of server hardware components.
• Investigate manufacturing defects and determine root causes to improve product quality.
