As a Support Engineer at Qualcomm, you will play a vital role in enhancing product reliability and supporting the product development life cycle. You will collaborate with other engineers to resolve technical system issues and contribute to product improvement. • Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience, OR Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience, OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.
• Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year of work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Certification in Electronics or related area is preferred.
• Military experience or training in electronics field (Rank E5+ 1 year) is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with digital HW, SW, and/or analog RF troubleshooting and debugging is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a lab environment is preferred.
• 1+ year in a leadership role with or without direct reports is preferred.
• 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above) is preferred.

• Perform organizational, low-level debug, development, and process and/or product test support tasks.
• Execute modifications and revisions of electronic parts, software, system, components or circuitry.
• Provide layout and design support for engineers and recommendations for small projects.
• Install, upgrade, configure, and help operate company products and/or components based on specifications, tolerances and reliability.
• Monitor product performance and analyze failures or malfunctions.
• Gather and integrate data and information from multiple sources and stakeholders to understand specifications and execute tasks.
• Collaborate with individuals inside own team and across other teams to complete project work and execute individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
