As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Jacobs, you will lead geotechnical tasks and oversee the delivery of various projects, focusing on medium- to large-scale civil infrastructure in the water and transportation sectors. This role involves working within a large interdisciplinary design team and interacting with clients to support business development efforts. You will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced staff and guide projects from concept development through construction. The position can be based in either Portland or Corvallis, Oregon.

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
• M.S/Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering
• 15 years of geotechnical consulting experience with a focus on design-build transportation projects
• PE license
• 10 or more years of geotechnical design experience in the dams market preferred

• Lead geotechnical tasks and project delivery for various civil infrastructure projects.
• Mentor less experienced staff in geotechnical practices.
• Develop and implement geotechnical data collection programs and analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and contract documents.
• Provide support during project construction and assist in advancing technical capabilities.
