The Assistant Vice President (AVP) role within the NAM Commodities Middle Office team is a leadership position focused on providing support to global Commodities Trading desks. This high-profile team ensures accurate trade capturing and execution while managing regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. The role involves collaborating with various functions and desks to enhance controls and improve processes. The AVP will also mentor junior team members and contribute to key projects and initiatives.

• 4+ years of experience in a related role
• Knowledge and understanding of Commodities or financial derivatives
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Identify trade discrepancies and escalate trade breaks to various Commodities Trading desks
• Help to resolve trade breaks between trade capture systems and clients, brokers, and exchanges
• Reconcile exchange-traded positions between trade capture systems and exchanges
• Perform regulatory controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Research and resolve complex trade flow issues in a timely manner
• Advise Front Office on complex trade structures and assist with new product setups
• Work in close partnerships with Front Office, Financial Control, Operations, and Technology teams
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members and train new joiners
• Produce metrics and prepare senior-level management reporting as needed
• Identify areas for improvement and drive change to enhance controls
