The Technology Business Architect at Citi will play a crucial role in defining and guiding the transformation of IT improvements for the Finance functions. This position requires a blend of deep domain knowledge and strong communication skills to articulate the future vision of Citi's Finance architecture, particularly in the context of AI and automation. The role is part of the Enterprise Operations & Technology team, which focuses on delivering secure and efficient services. • 10+ years in an engineering and/or architecture capacity supporting Finance or related business functions, ideally in Financial Services.
• Proven track record delivering cross-functional business process improvement and enterprise-wide architecture change.
• Experienced leading virtual teams in matrix environments; self-motivated and able to own initiatives end-to-end.
• Outstanding communication skills enabling influence at all levels, from technical developers to the most senior executive leaders.
• Conceptual understanding of AI/ML, GenAI, and agentic automation and their applicability to Finance use cases.

• Assist in defining strategic direction and setting business architecture standards across Citi businesses.
• Lead collaboration with Finance and Shared Services to define current and future-state business architectures.
• Partner with data architects to influence data architecture in support of the business architecture.
• Align strategic technical investments to the target state architecture across all Finance technology partners.
• Develop and evangelize business architecture principles guaranteeing accurate financial reporting.
